On Angel's Wings

A request from Airlion on the DK forums. She wanted me to draw her original creature, the Squor, so I did and did an experimental piece while I was at it.

Basically, I was playing around with mixing mediums, and most unfortunately discovered that my colored pencils did not like the kind of paper I was using, so that aspect of it came out rather sucky. I was pretty pleased with everything else, as much as one can be pleased with an experiment.

Mechanical pencil, Copic outliners, Prismacolor markers, and Derwent Inktense pencils.

Please note that the scanner happened to emphasize all of the white spots where the colored pencil refused to blend; it looks much better unscanned... but doesn't everything? Meh.
