PRICING SPECIFICS:
Sketch - $5+
Inked Lines - $10+
Graphite or Charcoal - $12+
Inked plus Shading - $12+
Colored Pencil - $15+
Colored Pencil on Marker - $10+
Additional Characters - 1/3 of the base price of the piece per character (i.e. $1.70 for a sketch, $5 for colored pencil etc.) I will always count the most basic character as the additional character.
The prices listed are the base price; I may charge more if the content you request is more complex and therefore more time-consuming. I will give you an estimate before starting your piece.

PAYMENT:
All payment is accepted through Paypal. Each commission will be done in 2 payments (though if you get a sketch, you will probably only have to pay once). The first payment is made after I give you the total price and you commit to following through with the commission. At this point, all you need to pay is the base price. After you make this payment, I begin the sketch of your piece. After I have completed the entire piece, I will notify you and expect to receive the amount of money you still need to pay. Once you make this final payment, I will upload your piece.*
*In the event that I cannot immediately upload your piece (which sometimes happens since I'm at a college where dA is regularly blocked by the network, though it randomly allows access), I will send you the image file by note or e-mail instead. Once I get access to dA, I will upload your piece there as well.
PROCESS:
Since I'm a traditional media artist, I cannot make large corrections to a piece after I have gotten past the sketch stage. However, during the sketch stage, it's still possible for you to suggest even dramatic changes to the piece. After I have finished the first sketch, I will send it to you for approval. If you disapprove, you must give me specific reasons why and/or things you want to see changed. If these changes are minor (i.e. only require erasing a portion of the sketch), I can make as many as you want, to a reasonable extent. However, if your change requires creating a new sketch, I can only offer this kind of correction once. If you are totally unhappy with the second sketch, you can request a refund or pay $5 for another two tries at the sketch. Please note that this is the only time you can get a refund after committing to the commission. After the sketch has been approved, you cannot get any money back. If you can't pay when the time comes to upload your commission, your commission status will be in limbo until you do: I won't post your commission or allow you to request another commission until you finish paying for the latest one.
I cannot give estimates for when your piece will be done. I'm a college student with two majors and a part time job, so I'm busy quite a bit. Sometimes I'll be able to finish in less than a week; other times, it will be several months. If you are concerned about the length of time it's taking for me to complete your piece, you can always note me about my progress.
SUBJECT MATTER aka THINGS I WON'T DRAW:
If you have looked at my gallery you can probably tell that I'm most comfortable with drawing animals. This is definitely true: I'm best at drawing animals, whether anthro or quad, realistic or caricatured. However, I will draw humans if that's really what you want; however, my disclaimer is that I'm not very good with them yet, so you may be disappointed. If you want your money's worth, I would honestly just stick with animals until I'm a more well-rounded artist.
I will not draw:
-Extreme gore: Blood is fine, but ripping intestines out is not.
-Sexual situations or erotica: Cuddly romantic type fluff is fine, but if you want something that is obviously sexual in nature, I couldn't do it if I tried.
-Anything overtly racist or offensive: meaning I won't draw your character flipping the bird or anything obnoxious like that, sorry! Poking fun at something is fine, just nothing that is intentionally hurtful to anyone or something that the average person (or me) would find offensive.
Other than that, you should be good!
